Jewish Apple Cake
Ingredients
5 or 6 apples cored and peeled (cut into thimble size pieces)
2 t. cinnamon
5 T. sugar
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 t. vanilla
4 eggs
1 c. oil
1/4 c. orange juice
1 t. salt
3 t baking powder
Directions
- Mix apples, cinnamon and 5 T. sugar together in a bowl; set aside.
- Mix the remaining ingredients together
- Pour half of this mixture in greased and floured tube pan.
- Spread one half apple mixture on top, repeat once.
- Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
