A Good Oil & Vinegar Dressing With 2 Variations

Ingredients
1/2 c. oil
1/8 c wine vinegar
1 T. parmesan cheese
1/2 t. garlic salt
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1/2 t. Lawry's seasoned salt
juice of 1/2 lemon

Variation 1:
Add 1 teaspoon of sugar - I call this Camper's Dressing.

Variation 2:
Add 1 teaspoon dry mustard, 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, some chopped anchovies and you have a "Near Caesar" to add to cold greens, croutons, and a coddled egg. Simple and far better than any store-bought brand.

Directions
In jar or bowl, shake or stir all ingredients.
Always chill the greens and the salad bowl but not the dressing.
If you are serving continental style, serve the salad after the entrée to avoid a clash with the dinner wine.

Makes enough for one large salad.
