Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients
1 short pie crust (large 10 inch)
Sprinkle over crust:
1 lb. chopped and crispy fried bacon
1 lb. shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 lb. sautéed mushrooms
Beat together and pour over:
3 c. milk
6 eggs
salt and pepper

Directions
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes and serve immediately.
Note that there was no recommended temperature in the original Carl and Hugh cookbook, so we recommend 400°.
