The Fish Market Garlic Cheese Bread by Carol Jancsi

NOTE: San Francisco sourdough bread may be purchased at The Fish Market. Bake according to directions
1/2 cup Romano cheese
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 garlic clove, minced, or to taste
1 loaf sourdough bread (see note)
Chopped parsley, for garnish
1. Mix together the first four ingredients.
2. Slice the bread into two halves, lengthwise.
3. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the bread.
4. Bake at 350° until golden brown.
5. Sprinkle the chopped parsley or top before serving.
