Spoon Bread by Ann Motten

1 c. cornmeal
2 c. cold water
2 t. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
2 T. butter
Mix the meal, water and salt to cook five minutes, stirring constantly. Add well beaten eggs, milk and melted butter. Pour into a well-greased hot baking dish.
Bake 40 - 50 minutes at 425°.
