Variation: For Creamy Thai Sauce, blend 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter with Oriental Dipping Sauce; mix thoroughly.

1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
4 tablespoons cider vinegar
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Combine all ingredients; mix well. Serve as a dipping sauce with cooked artichokes. Keeps for several days in the refrigerator.
