1 1/2 lbs. green beans
1/4 c. oil
1 clove garlic
1 T. chopped onion
1/2 c. diced green pepper
1 t. salt
1 t. basil
1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
1/2 c. water

Heat oil and garlic in heavy pan. Add onions and green pepper. Cook slowly 3 minutes. Add beans, water, salt and basil. Cover, cook slowly till beans are tender. Stir in 1/2 of cheese. Turn into serving dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
