It is possible that the name "Walking Tostada" may have come from someone misunderstanding the name "Joaquin Tostada". Call it what you want; it works either way.
This is meant to be served cold, but I suppose you could heat it up.

1 15-oz. can refried beans
1 bunch green onions, diced
1 container of guacamole dip
2 tomatoes, diced
1 small container sour cream
grated cheddar cheese
1 medium can diced Ortega chiles
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium can sliced black olives
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 bag of your favorite tortilla chips

Prepare ground beef with taco seasoning as instructed on the package. On a large platter, spread the refried beans to cover most of the platter.On top of this, spread the guacamole dip and sour cream. On top of this sprinkle the ground beef, chiles, green onions, olives and tomatoes. Top with grated cheese.
Use tortilla chips to dig in and enjoy.
