Another recipe for our family favorite.
Ingredients
1 small box Cheerios (7 or 8 oz.)
1 box or bag of pretzels
1 small box Rice Chex (or any Chex cereal)(7 or 8 oz.)
1 pound butter
2 pounds of nuts (mixed nuts, almonds, peanuts, walnuts)
1 tsp garlic powder
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Lawry's Seasoning Salt
Directions
Heat nuts at 250 degrees for 15 minutes.
Melt butter and add seasonings.
Combine heated nuts with cereal and pretzels.
Pour butter mixture over nut/cereal/pretzel mixture.
Bake at 200 degrees for 2 hours.
Stir gently and thoroughly to bring seasoned butter from bottom to top of pan.
Stir every 20 minutes.
Stirring is very important.
When thoroughly cool, store in airtight containers.
Stores and keeps very well.
Note: You will need a very large pan for this.
The amounts of cereal, nuts and pretzels are approximate and may be changed to suit your tastes.
