Ingredients
6 eggs, separated
1/4 lb. powdered sugar
1 dash each of allspice, cinnamon, & nutmeg
(In place of cinnamon you can use a cinnamon stick.)
Granulated sugar as needed
rum*
whiskey*
* Amount of rum and whiskey are mixed in a ratio of 1/3 rum and 2/3 whiskey, with enough of this mixture to fill sixteen jiggers
Directions
Base Mixture
Beat egg whites until stiff and dry.
Add the sugar.
Add the yolks.
Beat until lemon colored.
Add the spices and a little granulated sugar if needed.
Make the Drink
Put a Tbsp. of the above mixture into a cup.
Add a jigger of the rum and whiskey mix.
Fill the remainder of the cup with boiling water.
Stir and serve.
Servings\Yield
Makes about 16 cups.
