Ingredients
4 (4/5 qt.) bottles sauterne chilled or other white table wine 8 cups orange juice, strained 1-1/3 cups lemon juice 2 cups brandy 4 cups sugar Several strips lemon peel 4 bottles champagne, chilled
Directions
Combine sauterne, orange juice, lemon juice, brandy and sugar in a punch bowl. Stir to dissolve sugar. Give each strip of lemon peel a twist; drop into punch bowl. Just before serving, pour in chilled champagne and add a block of ice or a tray of ice cubes. A suggested garnish is floating orange blossoms (real or artificial).
