Rollout your favorite rich biscuit dough 1/4" thick.
Spread with butter, then with half of this mixture:
1/4 cup sugar (brown or shite*) mixed with 1/2 cup maple syrup.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Roll up like a jelly roll.
Slice about 1/4 inch thick.
Grease large muffin tins with butter.
Divide remaining half of sugar-syrup mixture between the tins.
(2 cups of flour makes about 8 rolls.**)
Place a roll in each muffin tin.
Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) about 30 minutes.
* This was such a funny typo in the original recipe that I couldn't resist leaving it in. Of course, that is supposed to be "white" sugar, not "shite"! 😂
** I have no idea what this means in here. I guess it means that if your favorite biscuit dough uses 2 cups of flour that you will end up with 8 rolls.
