Indulge in the rich tradition of Belgian cuisine with this authentic Carbonnades Flamande, where tender beef slowly simmers in beer and aromatic herbs. The distinctive flavor profile comes from the perfect marriage of brown sugar caramelization and the slight tanginess of red wine vinegar. Vegetables add depth while bay leaf and thyme infuse the stew with classic European character. This hearty, soul-warming dish transforms affordable cuts of beef into a memorable meal worthy of special occasions.
