This cheese-stuffed meatloaf transforms traditional comfort food into an irresistible surprise. Velveeta cheese cubes hidden throughout create pockets of melty goodness in every slice. The meat mixture combines lean ground beef with savory additions like mushrooms, green peppers, and a perfect blend of seasonings including garlic and poultry seasoning. As it bakes, the cheese melts into the meat creating flavor-packed, moist texture throughout. Serves 6 generously, making it perfect for family dinners when you want to elevate a classic with minimal effort.

Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 c. diced cheese (Velveeta)
1 egg, beaten
1/2 large onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 c. mushrooms
1 1/2 c. milk

3/4 c. dry crumbs
1 t. savory salt
dash poultry seasoning
1 T. prepared mustard
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t. garlic powder
1 t. pepper

Directions
Blend all ingredients well except meat.
Add to meat and mix well.
After placing in loaf pan.
Poke in all cheese cubes until they are out of sight.
Bake in 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
