Tender chicken breasts are wrapped around herb-infused butter, creating a delectable surprise when cut into. The crispy golden exterior gives way to a juicy center that oozes with rich, aromatic butter. Finished with a touch of white wine for depth, this impressive yet achievable recipe is perfect for special occasions or date nights when you want to showcase your culinary skills.

Ingredients
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded flat
1 stick of butter, but into 3/8" cubes
3 TBSP dried chopped chives
3 TBSP chopped parsley
1 tsp white pepper
2 tsp garlic salt

1 tsp salt
flour to coat
1 egg, beaten
bread crumbs to coat
Sauterne or other white wine
cooking oil

Directions
Cutter butter into 3/8" x 3/8" sticks the length of a cube of butter.
Roll the sticks of butter in a mixture of chives, chopped parsley, white pepper, garlic salt, and salt.
Place butter on flattened chicken and roll up tightly; pin if necessary.
Roll in flour
Cool in refrigerator until ready to cook.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Before cooking, cover with beaten egg and roll in bread crumbs.
Brown in oil in a skillet, and place in baking dish.
Bake with 1/4 cup - or whatever amount is needed - of Sauterne or other white wine for 45 minutes.
Vegetables - such as - browned canned potatoes, mushrooms, frozen broccoli, etc., may be cooked with chicken.
