This ingenious meatloaf combines ground beef, turkey, and sage sausage for unmatched flavor and juicy texture. The careful mixing technique creates an airy, tender result rather than a dense, heavy loaf. A thoughtful blend of herbs and seasonings, including Worcestershire sauce and garlic, adds depth without overwhelming the meat. Perfect for family dinners yet impressive enough for guests, this versatile recipe works beautifully for sandwiches the next day—if there are any leftovers!

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef or turkey (or 1/2 lb. of each)
1 12oz pkg of pork sausage - Jimmy Dean's sage is good
2 eggs
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup milk
1 small chopped onion - can use dried also

(continued in the next column ↗️)

1/2 TBSP Lawry's Seasoning Salt
1 1/2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
2 tsps dry mustard
1 - 2 tsps garlic powder
chopped parsley
You might want to add pepper, but NO salt is needed, especially if sage sausage is used

Directions
Mix your meats together now, to avoid over-working the meat later.
Mix milk, egg, and bread crumbs gently.
Add seasonings to the milk mixture and mix well.
Pour the milk mixture on top of the meat, and mix well, but lightly
The trick to this is keeping the meatloaf "airy" without letting it pack.
One way to mix well at this point is to make your fingers like a pitchfork, and stab down into the mixture.
Shape into loaf without packing tightly.
Bake 1 - 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
