Few cookies deliver the kind of simple, soul-satisfying goodness that a classic peanut butter cookie does — and this one nails it every single time. With a short ingredient list and a straightforward method, these cookies come together quickly and reward you with that signature criss-cross pattern, crisp edges, and a soft, chewy center packed with rich peanut butter flavor. Made with a blend of both white and brown sugar, these cookies strike the perfect balance between sweetness and depth, while the addition of milk keeps the texture tender and the dough easy to work with. A touch of vanilla rounds everything out beautifully. These cookies are a perennial crowd-pleaser — equally at home in a school lunchbox, on a holiday cookie platter, or just piled up on a plate next to a cold glass of milk on a lazy afternoon. They bake up in under ten minutes and make about three dozen, so there's plenty to share — if you're feeling generous. - Claude
