These Stuffed Mushrooms transform ordinary button mushrooms into extraordinary appetizers with minimal ingredients but maximum flavor. Mushroom caps are lightly sautéed while their chopped stems mingle with onions in butter to create a savory filling. Topped with melted Monterey Jack or Parmesan cheese, these versatile bites adapt to casual gatherings or elegant cocktail parties. A timeless starter that disappears quickly!

Ingredients
12 large mushrooms, stems removed and chopped
3 tbsp chopped onions
4 tbsp butter
4 oz. grated cheese
Salt & pepper to taste, or what your doctor will allow you to have

Directions
No.1
Break stems from caps.
Sauté caps lightly in butter.
Chop stems with approximately 1/4 equal quantity of onion. (See ingredients for exact mathematical formula,)
Sauté chopped stems and onion in butter.
Fill mushroom caps with stem and onion mixture.
Grate Monterey Jack, or other cheese of choice on top.
Heat in oven or under broiler.

Same as above, but use Parmesan cheese and dot top with a pat of butter. It's also okay if you use the cheese above and dot IT with butter
