This versatile Meat Sauce delivers a perfect balance of tangy, creamy flavors to complement your favorite proteins. The velvety smooth texture comes from a carefully crafted blend of egg yolks, dry mustard, and canned milk, enhanced with a splash of hot vinegar for brightness. Ideal as a sophisticated sandwich spread, a dipping sauce for cold cuts, or a flavor-boosting condiment for roasted meats. A unique addition to your culinary arsenal!

Ingredients
2 egg yolks, beaten
3 T. flour
3 T. dry mustard
1/2 t. salt

1 c. canned milk
1/4 c. hot vinegar

Directions
Scald 3/4 c. milk
Pour the other 1/4 c. in with other ingredients, except vinegar.

Keeps indefinitely in the refrigerator. ⚠️???!!! Maybe a week or two at most!
Excellent with all meats.

💬 Uncle Dave says...
I did a little research and determined that this is kind of a condiment for meats, and maybe could be used for a dip for cold cuts or even a sandwich spread.
I am, however, suspicious of the "Keeps indefinitely in the refrigerator." line.
I don't think that is a good idea. Maybe a week or two?
