Oriental Dipping Sauce

Transport your taste buds to Asia with this versatile Oriental Dipping Sauce, featuring the perfect balance of sweet brown sugar, tangy vinegar, savory soy sauce, and aromatic sesame oil and ginger. Delicious as is with artichokes or transform it into Creamy Thai Sauce by adding peanut butter for a more substantial dip. Quick to prepare and keeps well in the refrigerator, this sauce adds exotic flavor to vegetables, spring rolls, or grilled meats.

Ingredients
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
4 tablespoons cider vinegar
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

For Creamy Thai Sauce:
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Directions
Combine all ingredients.
Mix well.
Serve as a dipping sauce with cooked artichokes.
Keeps for several days in the refrigerator.

For Creamy Thai Sauce:
Blend in creamy peanut butter.
Mix thoroughly.
