Transform ordinary popcorn into an addictively sweet Nancy's Microwave Caramel Corn with this foolproof recipe! The perfect balance of brown sugar, butter and corn syrup creates a rich caramel coating that's evenly distributed through a clever paper bag technique. Multiple short bursts in the microwave ensure perfectly crisp results without burning. This impressive homemade treat comes together in minutes rather than hours, making it ideal for movie nights, holiday gifting, or anytime snacking.
No Jump Zone
Ingredients
1 cube butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 bags microwave popcorn
1 large paper grocery bag
Pam

Directions
Bring to boil (30 - 45 seconds) the butter, brown sugar and corn syrup.
Take off stove and immediately add vanilla and baking soda. Stir quickly until it foams.
Pop the microwave popcorn. Remove the grannies.
Spray the inside of the grocery bag with Pam, and place the popcorn on the bottom.
Pour boiled mixture into the bag , shake to mix, fold over the top and microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes.
Shake bag again and microwave another 1 1/2 minutes.
Shake again and microwave for 30 seconds.
Shake again and microwave for 30 seconds.
Shake again and spread out on cookie sheets to cool.
Break apart and store in airtight container.
