Ingredients
Flank steak, enough for the number of people you are serving
1 recipe Basic Wine Sauce (recipe follows)

Basic Wine Sauce
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons salt.
1 cup red wine
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 1/4 cups olive oil
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon crushed oregano.

Directions
Directions for Basic Wine Sauce
Crush 2 cloves garlic in 2 tablespoons salt. Mixed together the remaining sauce ingredients.

For the Steak
Marinate steak in sauce for several hours or overnight.
Grill or broil until desired doneness.
For medium rare steak, grill for about 10 minutes per side.
Slice against the grain into thin strips and serve hot.
