Ingredients
For the Meat Mixture
2 pounds ground beef or combination of beef and ground lamb 
1 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped parsley
2 tablespoons fresh chopped garlic
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
Salt and pepper to taste

The Finished Sandwich
4 large pita bread rounds, sliced in half and spread open to create a pocket
1 sliced tomato
1 sliced onion
chopped parsley
1 sliced cucumber
tzatziki sauce

Directions
For the Meat
Mix all ingredients. 
Shape into 8 rolls, each about 6 inches long.
Skewer with a stick.
Grill, broil or fry until done.

Place rolled meat on pita bread,
add sliced tomato, chopped parsley, sliced onion, sliced cucumber, and tzatziki sauce
fold bread over filling to form sandwich
