Ingredients
4 cups almonds 1 tsp olive oil (or enough to coat almonds without having a bunch of excess oil) 1 TBS smoked salt 1/2 TBS garlic powder (or you can use any of your favorite spices)
Directions
Pour almonds into a microwave safe baking dish; I use a 9 x 9 Pyrex. Cover with the olive oil and stir, then add the spices and stir again. Microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes. Stir well. Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes. Almonds should start making popping sounds, and begin to brown. Stir well. Microwave on HIGH for 1 more minute, but watch closely so they won't burn. Allow the almonds to cool and enjoy.
