Beer Can Chicken delivers incredibly moist meat and crispy skin through an unconventional cooking method! A whole chicken roasted upright on an open beer can allows the beer to steam the bird from the inside while fat renders perfectly. The simple seasoning of butter, salt and pepper lets the smoky, malty flavor shine through. Easy to prepare with minimal ingredients, this showstopping main dish promises to be the juiciest, most flavorful chicken you've ever made!
No Jump Zone
Ingredients
1 whole chicken, 3 1/2 - 4 lbs.
(If chicken is still alive; chop chicken's head off, hang chicken upside down to drain remaining blood, pluck all feathers from chicken, and clean chicken thoroughly!)
1 12 oz can of beer(Busch beer is recommended due to it's higher boiling point, but any and every beer is welcome!)
1/2 cup butter
salt
pepper

Directions
Take cleaned whole chicken and rub butter in and out and all around chicken.
Rub with salt and pepper as well (By hand!).
Preheat oven to 375°.
Grab a large baking pan to place whole chicken in.
Grab a cold beer to drink (Since you will probably need one by now).
Grab a cold beer and place vertically in large baking pan.
Open both beers! (Very Important).
Set chicken down on beer can so as to make beer can go up chicken's rear.
Move chicken's legs so chicken and beer are stable standing straight up.
Bake chicken with beer up its rear for 1 hour or until beer has boiled over.
Eat all the skin first, since it will be the best part.
Beer inside the chicken will be very hot so do not drink.
Drink another cold beer.

💬 Uncle Dave says...
Other spices and GARLIC may be added. Just don't try to stuff more than one can up the chicken.
